Practice Update

 

Please note that Dr St George will be taking a short period of personal leave from early October 2026 until late January 2027.

​

Following the recent retirement of Professor David Little, our practice is currently experiencing a significant increase in enquiries and referrals.

​

The practice remains committed to ensuring continuity of care for our patients and will continue to accept non-urgent referrals during Dr St George’s leave. We kindly ask for your patience during this unusually busy period, as it may take our team a little longer than usual to return phone calls and respond to enquiries.

​

For former patients of Professor Little, we will endeavour to arrange an appointment with Dr St George as close as possible to the time your child is due for review, either before her leave or following her return in late January.

​

If your child requires urgent orthopaedic assessment during this period and cannot wait until Dr St George’s return, we suggest contacting one of the following practices or services:

Patients Known to Dr St George Through the Public Hospital System

 

If your child is known to Dr St George through The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Orange Health Service or Royal North Shore Hospital, please direct enquiries regarding this care to the relevant hospital.

Dr St George’s private practice operates separately from the public hospital system and does not have access to public hospital appointments, records or administrative systems. Unfortunately, our private rooms are therefore unable to assist with appointment changes, waiting lists or other enquiries relating to your child’s public hospital care.

Please attend your nearest Emergency Department or the Emergency Department at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
